The New Renault Zoe Electric Car Launch

Russell’s were approached by Renault to manage and deliver a logistical solution to transport 10 new Renault Zoe’s across the UK and Ireland for the launch of the new vehicle.

The vehicles were originally collected from the import centre in Southampton on one of our larger multi car covered trucks and returned to our secure premises where they were show prepped ready for the tour. This included valeting the vehicles, providing condition reports and charging them ready for the tour. At the end of each week the vehicles returned to our premises to be charged, cleaned and stored inside our secure car store ready for departure on the Monday morning for the following weeks schedules.

The cars visited destinations as far as the southern dealers down Cornwall,

Upto Elgin in moray, Scotland and across to various destination in Ireland and all of mainland England and Wales.

Logistically it was a challenge but with the support of our It planning software, every car was delivered to each and every dealer on time providing a 100% delivery success rate actors the complete tour.

All cars were successfully returned to Renault again in our multi covered trucks. With the variety of our fleet and it software we could provide a cost effective solution of all parts of this mamouth task whilst providing a clear and precise paper trail of delivery reports and invoicing for the customer.
